First released in 1992, Twin Islands Sauvignon Blanc is the essence of the region. It’s a little bit of everything, a full flavour spectrum from tropical to zesty. Each bottle brims with ripe aromas and a juicy palate, all wrapped up with a crisp intensity.
Through experience, we’ve selected specific vineyard sites that produce those distinctive aromas and fruit driven characteristics the region is famous for. And we’ve spent decades protecting that consistency by cultivating strong relationships with our growers.
Using grapes predominantly from the valley floor, our winemaking is sympathetic, non-interventional, allowing the grapes’ true characters to shine through. And it’s produced in some of the best facilities in New Zealand; Twin Islands is part of the stable of quality wines produced at Nautilus Estate of Marlborough, one of our nation’s most highly regarded wineries.
Twin Islands Sauvignon Blanc loves food and food loves Twin Islands Sauvignon Blanc. With a lively fragrance that combines passionfruit, grapefruit and fresh mint, the palate is crisp and intense with citrus flavours and hints of fresh herbs, all leading to a zesty, mouth-watering finish. Ideal on its own or paired with seafood, Asian flavours and anything fresh and zingy, this food-friendly wine holds its own with a plateful of big flavours.
